Crowns (often called caps) are restorative options that replace the part of the tooth that is above the gum.  There are many options available.

Ceramics

Procera-These beautiful restoration are made by a computer generated milling process. This give a precision fit with little to no adjustments. Our Procera crowns have a lifetime warranty.

IPS Empress-This restoration give a natural look that is very hard to beat. We use this restorative material for most of our smile design cases.

Porcelain fused to metal (PFM)

Traditional PFM Crowns- These crowns are made of noble and high noble metal. These are very durable and have been around for many years.  We do not recommend this restoration for anterior teeth due to the possibility of black lines (see above picture) forming a the gumline.
